Good information about the timing of the Black Opal!
~~~
"Just a quick update to let you know that production of the standard and deluxe versions of The Black Opal are about to get underway this week. We have been working hard behind the scenes on the design and feel to produce a truly quality product. If we have any queries regarding postal addresses or orders issues, rest assured that you will be contacted directly. We are hopeful that all orders will be satisfied in time for Christmas."
As always, discussion here:
I inquired as to the state of The Black Opal and here is the response I received:
~~~
"... We have a newsletter function that allows us to contact customers and I used this to advise all order will be fulfilled within the next 21 days.
We now expect them to all be fulfilled within the next 14 days as they are finishing production now!
If you can let them know that would be great."
~~~
I believe "fulfilled" means shipped out from Australia, but it might mean arriving at Lisa's warehouse, or (but I think this is lest likely) it means we should all have them in hand by that time.
Best regards,
An additional piece of news was posted to the front page of Lisa's site:
~~~
"18/01/2010 - The Black Opal update - Standard & Deluxe Editions
Lisa and the Team are pleased to advise that the Standard and Deluxe Editions of The Black Opal are currently completing their manufacturing run and are expected to be available for shipping via DHL Global Mail within the next 7 days. Fulfilment of all orders is our number one priority at this time. Stay tuned for further updates."
~~~
Best regards,
Rainsford
PS - I had added into the message from Lisa's folks "a sic after "Fulfilment". I mentioned this "spelling mistake" to Lisa's folks and their very clear response was to give me the full definition and listing from an Australian dictionary... and mention that the spelling I knew "fulfillment" was the American version. I was well and properly schooled. :-) I have removed the [sic] mark from the above message from them and will more humbly point out spelling mistakes in their messages for us forum folks. LOL |
Another update - I asked about people with partial addresses showing in the system and the response is:
~~~
"As far as the addresses are concerned, please tell them not to worry, we are
going through the addresses as we go along and contacting anyone who has
incomplete addresses."
~~~
Best regards,
